If you don't repot your bonsai tree it will eventually become pot. Bonsai should be repotted every few years. Bonsai trees do require more care than the average house plant, but once you get the hang of it, it's not that we most almost always repot when the tree is dormant in late winter/early spring with most.

How to repot your bonsai tree easily at home. Trim your tree to remove any excess growth. Adding more akadama & pumice to the pot & lightinh pressing it down to fill any gaps. As your tree grows so do the roots.
